All of the equipment needed for our hopper system will be provided to
you by Vortex Recycling, at no cost, to assist in handling your
filters. At the touch of a button our barrel tipper makes it all very
easy to fill the hoppers. Using our battery powered drill, lids can
be removed and put back on in seconds. Our hoppers and your forklift
can move 18 to 30 barrels at a time to either an outside or inside
storage or shipping.
With our
hoppers, a 7’ x 16’ area can store 160 to 270 barrels. We can also
supply hoppers with rollers on the front so they can be moved around
your warehouse or onto a trailer like a wheelbarrow. When empty and
not in use, they can nest inside each other like paper cups.
Once the
hoppers are filled they can be transported off your dock by either
your or our semi-van. They can also be loaded and transported by
flatbed trailers. You may also elect to dump them into our bulk
aluminum end-dump or rail cars using our hopper tipper that
hydraulically empties the hoppers using your forklift.
