Along with our 1,000 tons per month volume of oil filter scrap has developed a market for top pricing for compacted filter bricks.

In most cases, we will purchase your oil filter bricks well above your current selling price.  We supply you with our 5-yard, (10,000# capacity), false bottom steel hoppers for handling, storage, draining and transporting to cut your production costs. See drawing below!

Volume customers also receive a 10,000# forklift to handle and stack the hoppers.  Either Vortex Recycling or you can then transport the hoppers by flatbed or van to our many railheads, coast to coast and exchange them for empty hoppers or we can send you a railcar.

In case of a failure of your crusher, the same hoppers and system can be used for unprocessed filters so you are never in a panic to serve your customers.

We also issue you a "cradle-to-grave" certification on filter bricks.  Because of our current supply contracts, a contract can be written to you based on the Cleveland #2 Heavy Melt scrap index.

Remember, we never collect filters from a street level, therefore we are never your competition!
